Waging War

O Lord our God, other masters besides You have ruled over us;
But through You alone we confess Your name.

Every memory of our tyrant ruler will be destroyed

In the battle for my joy the Armour I must continuously employ,

For a moment I sit watching over the land of the camp: pausing to refresh,

I  polish the breast plate, the helmet, lacing the boots and inspecting the belt for any signs of wear,

The double edged sword I don’t neglect as I sharpen it in readiness for the imminent attacks!!

I’d rather not have to fight but the enemy I face leaves me no choice with their accusations and defamatory statements against me, even against you my Lord,

and their relentless invasions of territories that don’t belong to them are infuriating, thus my Lord’s strategies I have plot,

This is not a fleshly battle but one of the spirits and powers,

They’d love me to believe they are far when they are actually near and near when indeed far,

Or that my feet may fail if I had courage to venture out,

When I walk out I walk out on a firm and impenetrable rock

 I have superabundant help!!!

Begone Oh you enemy troops,

Your opponent is superior, thus you best surrender,

Yes my physical body is tired, I’m but a frail human,

But truly I am not weak

You Lord are continually girding me with strength for the battle

My feet shall not slip as you made room for my steps,

I marched in defense against my enemy

Attacking by Fire,

Attacking with full Force,

You see  I know you enemy,

And not in the form the world would have me believe (red or with horns), False haha

Accuser your evil is far more diverse, working throughout systems and people,

devil satan baal

Deception is your greatest ally,

I am alert for your bait,

Preempting your attacks I know when and where I am most vulnerable,

I have overtook you and indeed have and will overcome every foe,

I remain watchful and continue to rely on my Rock,

The Rock of my salvation  on which I stand is :

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Sun Tzu, The Art of War

I am a child of the king and the enemy is a defeated foe for those who shall inherit salvation,
